Kit zu Apprentice (1) | I alos have a Demnmark Platinum Playboy filly. She is out of a TB and has his quiet trainable nature with a lot of presence and elevation. I have met both American Saddlebreds stallions in NZ and find they both are very quiet people loving stallions. Denmark Platinum Playboy has sired some very nice types here in New Zealand and he is an excelent stallion to produce horses that carry the gold gene and he passes on his surberb movement to his progeny. Having seen progeny from both stallions I am very keen on the American Saddlebred as an all round discipline type of horse with eye catching movement and very easy to train. As they are can be taught to gait they are also very comfortable to ride and will suited to endurance. Also show good cow sence and will be using mine for western and hunting.

Kiwidream Apprentice (3) | For those that are interested in Saddlebreds there is a stud in Te Puke who are breeding them. Their website is http://byzanceactionhorses.webs.com/. Once my filly is older I am considering breeding her to their pure palomino stallion Rebel's Eldorado. I am hoping to breed some quality high percentage saddlebreds that carry the Dilute cream gene. This is were the cremello shines as they throw 100% dilute foals, palomino from chestnuts, palomino/dun/buckskin from bays and blacks.

Kiwidream Apprentice (3) | I have a daughter of Denmark's Platinum Playboy. I must say that I disagree with the negative comments here about him. My filly is a beautiful girl and extremely good looking. This is not just my opinion. I took her as a yearling to the 2012 Kumeu A&P show. She was entered into the young led sporthorse classes. All classes she was entered into she was placed including four first and reserved champion. The judge said to me that she had not seen such a lovely well conformed yearling in a long time! Destiny's Dreams Come True (my filly) is by Denmark's Platinum Playboy out of a ID x Tb/WB mare. If I could afford to get another horse I will be getting another one by him, they are all so beautiful, so stop dissing this wonderful horse!

gnomes Apprentice (1) | Yes I have one, well her mother was a riding pony mare and stallion American saddlebred, and she is the only foal by the stallion in NZ as they moved to Oz. He was on the cover of Dec horse and pony. Pure breds may seem a bit scary because we are not used to them in NZ. (I was unsure of the purebred). I saw my foal as a 2 month old and fell in love (I never would normally look at buying a foal) I bought my foal with the plan to show her, and I think the cross has given her a lot of presence. Hoping to show her in hand later this year.

Isis Executive Jockey (215) | Ive put this post here as probably only people interested in the amazing american saddlebred will read it. There is a black yearling colt for sale by Platinum Playboy out of a black purebred arabian mare (this cross is known as National Show Horse). He is not currently advertised. He will mature 16hh+ the photos I have seen are spectacular! My long time dream has been to import a black NSH and now there is ONE in NZ! This is the horse of choice by the true horsemanship masters, Albert Ostemaier, Nuno Oliveira, Arthur Konyot, Freddy Knie...to perform circensic dressage and haute ecole.
If you are interested, you can contact me and I will pass your details on to the owners. He will absolutely only be sold to the right home..They want 10k which believe me is worth that and more.
Or if your a multi millionaire, buy him for me, and be my sponsor, ha ha!

Isis Executive Jockey (215) | After reading the negativity towards Platinum Playboy I feel I have to represent for him! I think we are very lucky to have him in NZ. I have only seen pics of him and not recently but from what I remember I would defintly use him over a variety of mares. He has certainly produced a myriad of stunning correct progeny so far. Most people wont realise this, but American Saddlebreds are known for their extravagant movement, due to their typically very long upright shoulder and arm bone. If you look you will see the point of shoulder is very high and the angle it creates with arm bone is over 90degrees. So if you want spectacular movement look again! I used to think cremello/blue eyed horses and coloured horses werent that great to look at, but over the years I have changed. Every horse is beautiful to me now, the only thing that can make a horse ugly is its owner.

and another. This one's vaguely related to Playboy ... if they were people, they'd be cousins, or something

| It depends hugely on how they are trained too. The saddlebreds you typically see are trained to have that high headset.

deLangen Executive Jockey (458) | The one you posted a pic of is nice. Some of them seem to have quite long skinny necks...

| I think what makes me go ewww yuck when i see him, is his colour, makes his shapes look even more odd. and that hes so much height and hes so very light just very odd but i guess thats just his breed

I can't decide if I like him or not. Some of the photos look nice, and some look fugly!! Maybe he'd be prettier if he wasn't cremello (does any one else find them as creepy as all hell??).
