| Awesome!! How did it go? I am only riding the 2 year old bare back at the moment and he is doing great. I have had the saddle on him and just walked him about with it, he seems fine so far but I need a shorter girth, lol.

| Fullgallop, some horses take longer than others, this wee guy has been very good about everything so far. It is always a pleasure to deal with them when they are like this
Springy legs, lol, I always ask for a leg up, even though he is only 14.2hh, lol. I will give jumping up onto him a try when I know it won't frighten him, but I think I lost my spring some time ago now

| I am 36 and feel every day of it some days, lol.
I rode him on the beach today just for a short walk and still on the lead behind the cart and then rode him back up to the paddock. He is doing well so far. Keep my fingers crossed that he stays that way. its funny riding such a small horse, lol. I almost feel like I could touch the ground with my feet

| So far he has been great to deal with and is taking all this fuss and bother in his stride. I backed him yesterday for the first time and he was good. I backed him again today and did a little forward, backwards and turning both ways.....he was great!!! I am really pleased with him so far and with the constant firm handling he is starting to behave a little better with ground manners too. I have had the saddle on him, but haven't jumped up on him with it on yet. I have only backed him bare back so far and boy does he have a lovely comfy back. We will progress for another couple of weeks and then that will be enough for him for the mean time as he is still growing and I don't want him to end up with a dip in his back.
