I got my bitless bridles from frontier tack. They are nylon and around 30 bucks. Much cheaper to try! I just started a young horse with one and she is doing great. My older horse was getting outta control and tossing her head and generally was just a pain and someone suggested a side pull. She is now a great trail horse and totally safe to ride, she even did drill team in hers!

Okay so I'm really wanting to get a bitless now (esp since Gro just broke his good bridle, I figure I'm gonna buy a new one either way I might as well try bitless!)

But I'm kind of nervous to do it..I don't want to ruin him or confuse him somehow :$ Like wont he get confused if I'm jumping/hacking in a bitless then putting him back in a snaffle for dressage? And is it okay for him if (after using the bitless then deciding he's too hard to control or whatever) I go back to jumping in a bit..like he shouldn't be worse then before? That's what I'm scared of :P

Okay then is this a good one to try first -

I read somewhere about sidepulls being harder to stop in? He tanks off sometimes and so a crossover would probably be better to try right?

Gah sorry for the novel :$

Thanks guys..I think I'll get one off tm
And you're allowed them at pc? Because I see people competing in them so surely pony club wouldn't have a problem with them? But I dunno?
