Practise outside the float, into small spaces like gong into a yard or stable or something. So stand beside him and ask him to go foward without you by holding your arm with the rope in the direction yoiu want him to go, with the other hand (thats holding the leftover rope) give him a tap on the tummy/bum if he dosnt go foward. as soon as he does go forward leave him alone and give him a rub.

Wheb you feel he has the idea have a crack on the float, just remember lots of awards once hes on the float so he knows.

Hope it sorta helps haha

show them the float get them on the ramp then a lil tap to the rump or pull the lead so its like you walking up, if he/she dosnt go walk beside them on the other side of the float and then get it minimal movment from your behalf if that made sence

you put the rope over its neck and it should walk up.

Hi, can some-one please explain to me how to teach your horse self loading? I would love to teach all of our horses this so one person (me lol) can load the horse and do up the back, it would be a great help :)

Appreciate your help greatly
