the parents at ngo pc were awesome to hang with and talk to while watching people ride they were funny!
and then there were some girls to stay away from and then there were some girls who were just a barrel of laughs. and everyone could joke when someone fell of and didnt take it seriously

My old pony club only accepted horses that were well behaved horses that wern't hot heads. Of course I had a nice six year old horse who only got gelded a couple of years before. So he spooked at a lot of things and all the parents instructors hated him, so I went to a natural horsemanship clinic/play day, they loved him, so when I told them about him being destroyed they felt really sad and my last pony club instructor actually took him to the place to be desroyred the other people didn't really care, they were my friends :( How sad is that?

I quit pony club too. I never fitted in. My parents aren't horsey so I went with the lady that owns the horse I ride, and they dissaproved me and my family for that. I don't really see myself going back (I'm only 14 and did 1 1/2 years) When I started riding Ayla they dissaproved of that too because she may not be the perfect horse yet and yes she is abit on the crazy side but nope. I am technically still a member so I can go to ponyclub competitions and they go on the most amazing treks at the end of the year  but havnt been for about 5months.

I too have a NON horsey family, they have no clue on whats the haps with horses. I left PC at 16, for a whole season, just because I had to sell my horses and could only afford a young one, but anyway I did a return and It was great. I got accepted in like I had been there forever, I took along a SB and OTTB and everyone just loved to watch the tactics involved with those two types of horses! If you find the right one, so worth it, I mean, my PC accepts every type of horse and its great!

Pony Club, well what Can I say? I left a PC on the grounds of snobs, and got sick of it really lol. I joined another so called 'snobby' PC and OMG it was the opposite! I used to ride in Gumboots, laugh through my dressage tests, and everyone took me on board and welcomed my stupidness to the PC life. If you find the right PC, very much worth it. My Instructor is also a paid one, and it's so much nicer getting practically free lessons from her. I have learnt a lot from PC, but I still ride with all my own rulings (: I mean, there are still the few stuck ups, but If you get on their good sides, life is sweeet (:

There are always little groups at PC who form alliances and go out of their way to belittle weaker members and try to make owning horses for them hell.
Always some mum with no life on a power rush.
In my opinion all the fun is getting dragged out pc which is sad. It should be about owning a pony and having fun and learning at the same time. Not everyone is perfect and we learn from our mistakes.

Pony club is predy much blood, sweat and tears. and a whole lot of other words.

One problem up north is everyone wants stuff to be improved/run diffrently blah blah... but they wont step upto it. its the same old people doing everything. and soon there will be zilch. And its the parents getting abused when its the kids that is actully riding.
