Thanks for looking out for him...yup, he had a bit of a coughing fit when I went up there earlier but quite happy to stuff his dinner down his neck as quick as possible!

To do the wavey man...type colon then type wave and then another colon with no spaces at all, and Bob's your uncle! :)

Hi Juliette! Yeah, after you said about the vet I rang up my family vet in Cambridge and he said exactly the same thing as you! At least there's a general consensus... Your boy was having a bit of a coughing fit this morning, but seemed ok (I gave him the once over haha) other than that - took off charging round the paddock so cant be feeling too poorly! P.S. How did you get the little waving man?

Spoke to a vet also who said he's been inundated with horsey coughs and sniffles. Apparently the weather conditions this year have encouraged massive growth of some fungal spore thingy which is causing bronchial infections in the worst cases, coughs and/or sniffles for the rest of us :) I'm just rugging appropriatly and waiting it out :)

  Yup, guess my boy's got the bad variety! :)

Angel's got a slight runny nose and her breathing is quite noisey, but when she's being worked her breathing is fine :???: It's odd.

I'd just keep an eye on her for now (take her temp each day if you can).  Generally, if there's an infection brewing the discharge will more of a yellow/green colour (and it'll be thick-ish and nasty looking).

She's eating normally and junk???  Try damping hay down a bit, could be a dust thing to.

Her appitite hasn't gone :P Her breathing is fine and I'm going to nick a thermomiter from the farm today. No discharge this morning. Another thing I've noticed is she suddenly has her summer coat? All shiney as. Very pretty but it was so sudden...is that normal?

Like gone off milk...so light whitey yellow. Prehaps shes allergic to hay? Or it may have been heat stress, some of the cows are feeling it :(
Shes ok now. Just went for a little ride and she was fine, all runnyness gone. No huffing and puffed but the donkey was snezzing his ears off?

Il check again tomoz morning :)
