Haha completly disagree here :P. Jessie is 3/4 QH and 1/4 Arab- only seems to come out when shes in the paddock haha. Her canter is sooo smooth and bouncy, can be really nice if im really energetic. Her bum is the reason she can get over jumps the wasy she does. Done 2* Gp's on her, and im the reason we havnt gone clear yet.

Smooth and bouncy

My first pony was mostly QH and she was AMAZING. Couldn't have been better - she was intelligent but patient, a real sweetie. Although the downhill-built thing could be a downside - she ended up with a knee problem. :(

The horse will be turned inside out and left behind. You can't do reining if the horse is heavy on its forehand. Nor can you make a fast, clean turn on a barrel if the horse is heavy on his forehand.

A downhill build is a fault in any 'riding' horse and should be bred out of QH's. They never used to be downhill built like they are nowadays."

Zambi is QHxTB and he is uphill and very athletic. He has elegant paces and is a great jumper.. had a few lessons with a german instructor from America and she couldn't believe that he was half QH! And Trudy Boyce thinks he is very talented and could go all the way in eventing. So yeah... I think it all depends on the horse. There are lots of pretty average horses in all breeds but also some very special ones.

I know ALOT of QH that are good at jumping a dressage.
It depends on the confo.
The morden QH are like they are deformed they bred them for mussle so thay cant do alot also so they cant pick there heads up like a normal horse.
But a QH crosses well with some breeds and they make GREAT horses like the QH/Appy axel has racing QH in him and hes an AWESOME jumper and does nice dressage.
But frankly i dont really like to ride his movement as a QH movement digs in the ground as apposed to arcoss the ground, thats how it feels to me. They also have a funny neck set like there neck joins to low into there chest.

What breed is freya??
If you do put her to one make sure to check out the confo :P

Frey is a WB :D Big assed shoulder and big daisies butt! :P

Never ride anything with a smaller backside than you :P hehe

Hmmmm maayb not a Qh over her lol. Giant but lol

Hehehe she wouldn't have a foal, she'd have a giant backside on legs

QH canters are acually smooth the way western people want them going is so there canter is almost a walk so they call it a lope qh are trained to move that way they dont do it naturl our qhx appy used to jump 1.20 he was awesome and hes was all qh just apy colour lol i h8 they way the canter when being trained like that it looks hideous but trinity had a normall canter and he acually wasnt down hill prob coz of the appy but as taihoa is saying they wont make it in any acuall english classes unless they are crossed as they are 2 down hill and they dont really fit in any catagory though but i love them i think some are stunning

You are all saying they are built down hill. Yes the most often are, but that can really use their hind end when trained right, i mean look at the size of there hind quarters! and the sliding stops they preform rquire all the weight on the back end.

hehe i love those big butts! :D
