Yup, Birdcatcher spots, named after the horse Birdcatcher who had them.  Very eye catching.

Bird Catcher Spots?? Occur on all sorts of breeds I believe? The bottom photo being an arab. They don't always have as many though, they can have one or two or lots I *think*.

ok so sam has these white spots all over him he came to me with them in the 1st place theres 23 hes not an appy hes arab erp irish which i thought could be why he has these as he is chestnut and has alot of white hair on him 2
but these white patches the skin has changed colour he has black skin but where the white patches are the skin has gone white....is this anythink to worry about is he lacking in somethink he has a healthy shiny coat and has all the supplemnts etc.. or is it just his breed they arent anythink to do woth his saddle as there on his legs and flanks and shoulders and rump they dont hurt him or anythink just the older he gets the bigger they get lol hes 18 so tht could also be a factor. does any1 have any idea or seen other horses with this? any info would be great thanks
