Please please take my advice on this, purely because i would hate to see anything happen to the foal or the dam. If theres some1 out there thats willing to cut 3 innocent horse's tials in malice then i would hate to think of what they might do to a vunrable mare and her foal!!

And adding to that the costs can be extensive!! literally 1000s and 1000s of dollars, if things go wrong you could end up with GIGANTIC vet bills.

I dont believe its a good idea for you to breed a foal, as the others have said aot of responsibility is required and i don't think you have any experience with breeding and handling foals and im guessing that you would be breeding from lu, and im guessing shes a maiden mare, there are alot of things that can go wrong when breeding let alone when your inexperienced and have a mare thats never foaled before, I always say leave the breeding to the professionals!!!!!

And most importantly your property needs to be SAFE with proper breeding and handling facilities. and seen 3 horses tails have been cut by tresspasses i would STRONGLY recommend against having a foal on the property!! i would hate to thing what may happen!! Im not being nasty like the others may or may not be, im just thinking of the facts and what i genuinely think is right.

it's a lot of responsablity...it's not like breeding dogs where the -: Female Dog :- is pregnant for like 60 days and the pups can be sold on like 2 months later...

As you can see, it's VERY expensive. Though I would expect a much bigger total than this suggests.

You also need to consider the stallions conformation and temprement faults, and Lu's, and how they compliment each other.

To be honest, if I was you, I seriously wouldn't do it right now.

I'm sorry Volante and I know that picture was ment in jest, but it's a bit bad taste given what it's about.

What the hell are you going to do with a foal for 3 years until you can ride it?!?!
Can you afford thousands to get it trained to be rideable?
CAN YOU AFFORD VET VISTS? which you obiviosuly showed you couldnt with Lu.
If its a colt, can you afford to geld it, and how are you going to afford to feed it?

Ask yourself, why do you NEED to breed a foal.

You have proven incapable of schooling your green horses you have ...
And the ones that those of us that have been on RR for a few years have watched you go through in the past, before Ro and Lulu.
So I don't really care that you're not asking whether or not you should breed, I am telling you that if you chose to breed you would just be playing with fire, and destroying the life of an innocent foal.
You breeding a foal is akin to choosing to have a child in a violent household.

Do you have anyone near you with experience in foaling/handling foals etc who will be there to help you? (on a consistent basis)
Also, will this be your mares first foal? If so, even more reason to have someone experienced there with you for the whole pregnancy etc!
You need to really think, are you experienced enough to handle and train this foal? If you haven't got the experience, all you'll end up with is trouble.
