I find leg yielding out of the circle is really good - anything to get the inside hind leg stepping under and over as much as possible. Everything you are doing should do the trick though.

geeze...NONE of you have come up with the obvious one...

Standing straight, get him to bend down and touch his toes  - no cheating and bending the knees mind you!

Isn't that like the one I said? I get Ghost to stretch down so her nose is damn near on the ground but between her front hooves?

I was being silly....would have added more but couldnt think of any other HUMAN type supping exercises off the top of my head...:D

Ahahaha oh I get it, that's adorable :P

i like poles. raised or flat in curves or different distances apart so they realy have to think. long and low. all the exercises you do try them in long and low. an instructer i had made me put my hands together and ride circles and serpentines with my legs seat weight body position etc. not sure if they 100% if they the kinda thing your looking for but might give you some stuff to play with.

muahaha prada gets confused as with the between the leg one.... she tend to beg with the side stretches,

sounds like you have a lot of good exercises... prads is quite stiff on one side being a slightley older mare so with my instructor we do a lot of lateral stuff to open her up as well (Same sort of things you said) I am road riding alot and as we hae quiet can leg yeild and shoulder in along the road...

I find the trusty old carrot exercises from the grounds great for loosening them up all round - getting them to reach around to their flank for the carrot and down between their front legs etc.

At the moment i am working on change of bend, inside to outisde to straight etc.. lots of renvers and travers work change of rein, rein back change within the pace, lengthen and more collection in walk trot and canter, leg yeild one way then straight then the other way, circle leg yeild etc.. we also do lots of long and low and hill work but what else do you work on for helping the horse become more supple?? :D
