I really like Prestige VDL but I think price and size might be a turn off

He looks lovely, where abouts is the semen stored in NZ, and what is the fee involved.
She is an outstanding reproduction vet who achieved a frozen semen pregnancy for us from 1/4 of the last available dose of semen for that season when she was based at the Equine Fertility Unit in Newmarket.
Angela Smith is the agent who handles sales & her phone number is 09 235 3996. I am afraid I dont know what the stud fee is as this is set by Angela according to the currency exchange rates - if you have any problems please let me know

Cool will definitely look more closely at him then, especially as he's local, and stud fee is not horrendous.
Have you considered using frozen semen? Don Ricoss (Don Frederico - Weltmeyer - Eiger I) our black Hanoverian stallion has very good quality semen stored in New Zealand. He is a very good match with TB mares improving elasticity, neck set & topline. He has a super temperament & his progeny are very people friendly too! A 3 yr old bred via frozen out of a TB mare in Australia won her class at the Royal Melbourne show this year.

If you are wanting temprament and a bit of bone why not try a paint? there are some really lovely (and some crap) ones out there if you look around. Or quarter horse? You can get plenty who will produce a solid colour too if you dont want a broken coloured foal. I personally think you are going to have too much of a chance of it not turning out what you want with a andalusion.
thanks yeah have been looking at Sierra Negro (QH) but will have a better look at some of the paints that are around at the upcoming stallion show.

Yes!!! Woodstock Santana is his name. Yes, she passed away at the ripe old age of 30 due to repeated colic episodes.
WOW it really is a small world!

Andalusions that i have seen including a stallion have very choppy movements.. have very solid neck and over back area and a weak rump.. from what i have seen in person they werent somethign id breed to at all!!
I like the look of Whisper..!! although 3,000 he is a lighter stallion choice and hes got such a great temprement!!!! he is such a stunning looking horse!!
He doesn't have enough bone to put him to my mare, I really want better bone/legs in the foal. The Andy I've seen has nice movement and so do his progeny the full Andy's can be a bit 'clunky' but the Andy X TB seem to be the best of both worlds, my mare has excellent movement so even if we only got half her movement it would still move well.
