Have decided to put my English Riding Pony, Goldie, into foal this season. She is a cute-as Barbie pony, a little over 14hh, golden (flaxen) palamino. She is a speed deamon with a never ending amount of energy so I do not really want her to put her with something hot. I would also love for her to throw a palamino foal but am unsure of the colour genetics for this (never having a pally before).
I was thinking about two stallions (can be seen in this month's H&P) - the first is the Haflinger stallion Amberg. I know some about this breed but does anyone from RR own one?? (www.haflinger.co.nz)
The second is Ozark, a Missouri foxtrotter - see www.foxtrotters.co.nz
Finally, any maybe my preferred choice would be to put her to a Quaterhorse, but I haven't come accross one as of yet that rings my bell |
Have you looked at Sierra Negro (QH Stallion) very cool boy, they use him as a film set horse and also western, has a fantastic nature!!

| I dont like either you posted personally, or quaterhorses, but thats just my taste. Id put her in foal to something like davidoff (om nom nom) because she is from a strong line of gp sjers? Id rather have something that would go places than something 'pretty' if that makes sence Awww little goldies going to be a mum!
