There are some Fresian breeders in NZ - you can find out more from the National Spanish Horse Association (NSHA) at www.spanishhorses.co.nz under Contacts - the NSHA also have breed classes in their shows for them!

Lol Nippy, that would be so awesome to be able to show a Fresian, they all look so calm too and very friendly. I think the stallion Wabe is pretty gorgeous

And if I did get a Friesian I guess I would have to show it otherwise it would be a shame to have all that beauty sitting in a paddock and not share it.

Plus winning ribbons is always good...lol

I looked up fresian studs in NZ and there are 4. One of them is very close to where I live. So if I ever win lotto and can spend a fortune on a horse then I know where to go!

Yeah its hard to justify paying that sort of money for a horse unless you are serious about competing and /or breeding.

I think they are my ultimate dream horse. Every time I see a picture of one (never seen one in real life) my heart jumps to my throat. They are so graceful. I think they emitt a certain KING like personality.
