Lollie RR Vice President (26088) | She's not somehow getting a bit too much mag? Somehow at Telford the scoop got switched for one that was like double sized and half the horses went NUTS from ODing lol. Ghost stopped dead one day when my friend was riding and refused to move then decided if she had to move it was bucking and threw my mate (with THE stickiest seat ever!!!) off, another horse was getting particularly ridiculous and someone went and checked the feeds and they were getting heaps too much mag

Could try the powder version, it's meant for everyday use.
What's she like?? She's on mag, right??? Have you had her selnium levels checked??? |
yup shes on mag and a toxin binder and have had everything checked - her stress level thing was a teeny bit higher than normal, but that was all |
Tryptophan might help (that's basically what's in Su-per calm). It increases serotonin, which helps with calming.
Vetpro's Relax has tryptophan as well (tho not as much as super calm). It's got B1 (I think, B vitamins anyway lol) as well as mag ... B vits are sometimes good for calming (tho it's more if they are lacking).
I've never really had much luck with herbal relaxers, tho. Def seen better results with tryptophan based stuff.

I'd be feeding it daily and I'd prob do it for a week or two prior to when you need it. I just sort of fed it when I thought I might need it, which is probably why it didn't work very well.
Try supercalm ... it's not swabable and it works really, really well.

I think so. Brookby herbals did a valerian free mix that I think had vervain and chamomile in it. I never had any luck with it tho.
