def don't blacken them with makeup or ravens - the golden horse people are VERY big on showing natural :)

i'd check first.  i know for pintos we can enhance colour but cannot change the pattern in ANY way.

make sure you are actually allowed to black them first. I know for like golden horse classes you aren't allowed to dye the horse or black it's hooves and stuff cos it's basically falsifying the colour. I'm not sure if darkening the legs also counts as enhancing and falsifying colour

Black them! always looks way better! Though dont go overboard, I recomend ravens oil

Sigh you say?  sorry!

Anyway i have a buckskin appy, and first time doing colour classes.  Should i be blacking up his legs to really emphasize the points or leaving  natural?
