I was Stubben saddle soap and Effax conditioner stuff, then Stubben Liquid soap and Stubben Hamanol now I have switched to Belvoir (sp) and easily the yummiest and leaves the leather super soft and supple!

Making myself use up the Stubben stuff though - too expensive to waste.

Not sure what soap I use, just some random one from the old local saddlery, but I use effax leder balsam or bates leather cream on my tack after cleaning.

Ditto, great stuff!!!

Thirding!

I occasionally use the Effax stuff for really stiff stuff but I really, really hate the smell (and I find it leaves a yuck greasy feel behind too)

I love Carr Day Martin Glycerine Saddle Soap and Hydrophane Oil. For metal work 'Never Dull' a tin of wadding stuff that is pre soaked in a cleaner - brilliant stuff.
