because shes coloured u would probably have a grey foal out of her with a grey stally. but u could have a paint or coloured foal.

By tan and white do you mean chestnut or palomino or buckskin and white skewbald??? You would most likely have a 25% chance of a skewbald. A huge variety of of base colour combinations that you could get. You'd have to know what colour the stallion was born and what colour the mare is. And as Stallion is grey theres a good chance that it doesn't matter what colour foal is when it hits the ground it may grey out. Also helps to knw grandparents colours.

Well the foal could throw either the Dam or Sires genes.
You may end up with a plain grey or maybe even a mainly tan foal... it also depends on the genes in the mare and stally e.g thay both may have the black gene in them... Im not an expert and i may be slightly wrong but i reckon you could end up with quite a variety

hi all, i'm buying my daughter a lovely little mare, and in a years time i'll be putting her into foal to a steel grey stallion. mare is tan and white, what sort of colour do you think i'll come out with?, i am breeding so i can produce some kid ponies, our mare is 12.2 andstallion is 12hh
