Depending how big the pony is, I would build it up to 1/4 or 1/2 a cup , you can monitor how much you think he needs as he puts on weight. (my 16.1 gets 1 cup) Make sure you add it VERY slowly to his diet, gradually build up to 1/2 cup over 3 weeks, which is a bit longer than usual but because of his age it might pay to do things a little slower so his gut has time to get used to it.
If you have access to Toops bulk store then this is the cheapest way to buy rice bran oil |
Awesome thank you very much

I have my old pony,(33) currently on gumnuts, coolade (find it great for condition) and chaff, but was wanting something to give his coat a shine and something genuinely for condition. I heard oils can be great, but was wandering what type? Any suggestions? |
I have fed rice bran, canola, salad and cooking oil and soya, never found a difference with any of them.
