i have no idea... Uh have a google and see how long organised trail rides are. I assume they will have a distance and time taken somewhere?

It's just around roads and things, like I live in the country but no hills and no gates around here :)
And I do know there's no set distance, I already said that. But I'd like some opinions ;)

It depends on the type of country you are traveling over. Hills? farmland with lots of gates? Roads? winding forest tracks? etc etc

I'm looking into getting a few friends together and going for a long trail ride around. I was just curious, how far would about half or 3/4 of a days ride be? We'd probably just walk/trot most of the way and have a few breaks etc. and I know it's up to us, but just curious.
